Final Buchanan County Primary Voting Totals

(8pm Final)100% of the votes in Buchanan County have been counted in the 2014 primary.

Bill Hedge has won the Democratic Party nomination for the United States House of Representatives in northern Missouri’s Sixth District (71%). Sam Graves easily won the GOP nomination with 76%.

14,486 people cast ballots here, for a turnout of 26.84%

Democrat Jill Carson will face incumbent Republican Mary Baack-Garvey in the race for County Clerk. Carson beat Alec Jennings by a 60% to 40% margin.

Chad Gaddie won a crowded race for the Democratic nomination for Associate Circuit Judge, Division Six with 34.5% of his party’s votes. Gaddie will face Republican City Prosecutor Rebecca Spencer, who ran unopposed.

Harry Roberts beat Al Purcell by a 55-44% margin for the Republican nomination for Presiding Commissioner. Roberts will face Democrat Mike Veale in the general election.
