The Saint Joseph Chamber of Commerce has formed a new group to help some of the city’s major employers.
The Manufacturers Council combines two separate groups representing the Eastside and Stockyards areas. The Council will represent both, as well as other areas of the city.
Chamber President and CEO R. Patt Lilly says the intent is to engage all local manufacturers and provide a forum for discussion of manufacturing issues.
The Manufacturers Council held its first meeting February 13. It will meet quarterly. The next meeting will be May 8 at 11:45 am at the Chamber of Commerce office.
