Fire caused extensive damage to a midtown St Joseph home Monday morning. The St Joseph Fire Department reports everyone got out safely.
The blaze was reported at about 7:30 am Monday at 816 Noyes. A fire inspector blames an electrical problem for the fire.
It destroyed the living room and left smoke damage throughout the home. Police reopened Noyes Boulevard at about 9am.
The home belonged to the widow of Lt. Col Franklin Flesher. (more here)
