Missouri Western will host a wind energy program next week.
Dr. Vaughn Nelson, former director of the Alternative Energy Institute at West Texas A&M University, will speak Tuesday.
Nelson has more than 30 years of experience in wind energy research and served as the Alternative Energy Institute Director from 1997 to 2003. He has also served as a consultant to wind industry companies.
His presentation will start at 11:00am Tuesday morning in room 202 in Popplewell Hall on the Missouri Western Campus. The presentation is free and open to the public.
