A shooting incident in the Midtown area left one man with serious injuries, and another in custody.
Commander Eric Protzman of the St Joseph Police Department tells us the incident happened at about 4pm Thursday in the 100 block of South 19th Street. A white male in his 20s was transported to Mosaic Life Care for treatment of serious injuries.
Commander Protzman says shortly after five pm a person of interest was taken into custody by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The black male in his 20s was taken into custody at the La Petite Academy.
