ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Two routes closed Tuesday due to continued flooding across Northwest Missouri, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation. Route 48 in Andrew County is now closed on both the east and west sides of Rosendale and Route U in Nodaway County has closed again between Arkoe and Keystone Road. With more rain predicted this week, motorists are advised to consult the Traveler Information Map at http://www.modot.org/ for the most up-to-date information on all road closures. MoDOT encourages everyone to pay attention to barricades and Turn Around! Don’t Drown!
The following routes are closed until further notice:
Andrew County
Route 48 on both the east and west sides of Rosendale (One Hundred and Two River)
Route C on the east side of Rosendale (One Hundred and Two River)
Route B on the west side of Bolckow (One Hundred and Two River)
Atchison County:
U.S. Route 59 between U.S. Route 136 (south of Tarkio) and Route TT (Tarkio River)
Buchanan County
Route H between Agency and Johnson Road (Platte River)
Route C between U.S. Route 36 and Easton Saxton Road (Platte River)
Nodaway County:
Route U between Arkoe and Keystone Road (One Hundred and Two River)
