Jayson Simpson
A homeless man man his first court appearance before a Buchanan County judge Tuesday on accusations of vandalism in the downtown area last week. Police believe he may be responsible for several other incidents.
Jayson Simpson is charged with first-degree property damage, a Class-D felony. He was arrested for allegedly breaking a window at a downtown bank last week.
According to court documents, police believe Mr Simpson is responsible for several other vandalism incidents in the downtown area.
He appeared by video conference from the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center Tuesday. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for July 9 in front of Buchanan County Judge Rebecca Spencer
