A child was transported to the hospital Friday after she was hit while riding her bicycle in Chillicothe.
According to the Chillicothe Police Department officers responded to the intersection of Jackson and Locust Friday to find a 10-year-old girl with minor injuries.
Police said Loretta Dennis was driving westbound on Jackson Street and did not see the girl riding her bicycle northbound across the roadway.
The Child was transported to Hedrick Medical Center by Chillicothe Emergency Services for treatment of minor injuries.
