Saint Joseph Transit will drop its Nite Ride service after October 25. The service connected people in lower income residential areas with second and third shift industrial jobs. Federal funding and favorable local match rules meant the system could provide Nite Ride with almost no additional local funding since 2008. But now the federal money is running out. The funds will be exhausted October 25.
