Online court documents show Associate Circuit Judge Doug Thomson, on his own motion, took up the bond modification. Judge Thomson allowed Jessica Chenault to be released on a signature bond. According to a news release, Chenault and three other suspects were arrested March 12 in Maryville, as part of an ongoing drug investigation. All four were ordered held under $35,000 bond.

The suspects are from Tennessee and Kentucky, and according to investigators have no apparent ties to the Maryville area.

Also charged were Bryce Morton, Bettina Russell-Baker, and Brandon Harper. Chenault was released Thursday on her own recognizance. The other three suspects remain behind bars under the original $35,000 bond. Each defendant is charged with one count of possession with intent to district a controlled substance.

All four suspects are scheduled to appear in court March 24.
