United Way KinderClub is enrolling now for its fall Kindergarten program at North Andrew R-VI Elementary or Savannah School District Elementary schools.
The United Way said the program is designed to help parents prepare their children for success in school and that each school tailors its own meeting schedule.
North Andrew R-VI Elementary begins on February 5 and meets weekly through March 5.
Amazonia Elementary, Helena Elementary, John Glenn Elementary, and Minnie Cline Elementary will kick off their United Way KinderClub on February 10 and meet every other week through April 7.
All sessions will be held at the schools from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. More schools are expected to announce their United Way KinderClub schedules soon.
United Way said KinderClub is designed to ease the transition into kindergarten. Meetings will cover important school readiness skills and provide parents with the information and resources they need to help their child become ready for school. Sessions will be led by outstanding school district teachers and staff. Participants are strongly encouraged to attend sessions at the school which their child will enroll in for kindergarten.
