Police arrested two men shortly after an attempted kidnapping early Tuesday morning in Saint Joseph. Sergeant Keith Dudley says the two suspects stopped in front of a home in the 1700 block of Jules at 2:30 am and tried to pull a young woman into their car. Family member intervened and thwarted the attempt. The suspects drove off. There were no injuries.
Sergeant Dudley says the suspects later drove past the scene while officers were investigating. The officers sent out a description of the vehicle and a short time later other officers stopped it. Two suspects were taken into custody for investigation of attempted kidnapping.
