Saint Joseph Police arrested an attempted armed robbery suspect early Friday morning shortly after the crime was reported.
Sergeant Keith Dudley says officers had just finished a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Renick at 2:11 am when a man flagged them down. The man said a man on a bicycle just tried to rob him at knifepoint and rode off without getting anything, apparently spooked by police.
Officers found the suspect a few minutes later. The 28 year old Saint Joseph man was jailed for investigation of robbery.
