Partly cloudy overnight, chance of Saturday showers

Screen Shot 2014-07-11 at 5.37.30 AM Scattered showers and storms are expected mainly across northern Missouri Saturday afternoon and evening. A marked change in our weather is expected by next Tuesday with temperatures topping out only in the 70s; readings more common to May. In fact there is a chance of breaking a long-standing record low maximum in Kansas City. That record is 73 degrees set in 1906.
Tonight Partly cloudy, with a low around 73. South wind 10 to 13 mph.
Saturday A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. Heat index values as high as 96. South southwest wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Saturday Night A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 71. Southwest wind 7 to 9 mph becoming north northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Sunday Partly sunny, with a high near 86. North wind 5 to 7 mph.
Sunday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 68.
Monday A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 82. Chance of precipitation is 50%
