WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Sam Graves (MO-06), House Small Business Committee Chairman, today made the following statement as the Ford Kansas City Assembly Plant commences production of its 2015 Transit van:
“After a $1.1 billion investment in the greater Kansas City community, I would like to congratulate assembly plant employees and management as production starts on the new Ford Transit van. The Kansas City metro area is a great place to work and do business, and I applaud Ford Motor Company and all involved for making production a reality today. This is the kind of private sector investment that is going to create jobs, provide more certainty for workers, and help grow our local economy.”
