A waterskiing accident sent two people from St Joseph to the hospital. The Missouri State Water Patrol says they were both hit by a motorboat propeller at Lake of the Ozarks.
According to an online report, 12-year-old Lily Trammell was trying to get out of the water and into the boat. Officials say David Trammell, 44, jumped from the both to assist. Both were then hit by the propeller.
David Trammell suffered serious injuries, while Lily’s injuries were described as moderate.
Both were transported by ambulance to a hospital in Osage Beach.
