Two people were injured in a Sunday morning crash in Atchison County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2008 Hyundai driven by Christopher L. Barnes, 20, Albany, Mo., was eastbound on US 136 when it crossed the centerline.
The vehicle traveled off the north side of the highway, hit an embankment, overturned and came to rest on its top off the north side of the highway.
Barnes was taken to Fairfax Community Hospital. A passenger in the vehicle, Madison Stinemetz, 18, Omaha, NE, was transported to Fairfax Community Hospital and transferred via Lifeflight to Heartland Regional Medical Center. She was treated and has been released.
The MSHP reports both were wearing seat belts.
