Three young people were hospitalized Saturday in separate ATV crashes.
A Holt County crash between a car and an ATV sent two young boys to the hospital.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a southbound Hyundai clipped the front of the ATV on a curve along Banbury Road in Big Lake at 8:45 pm Saturday.
Jayden Aldana, 12, of Nebraska City, Nebraska, and Nicholas Cowles, 10, of Overland Park, Kansas, were transported to the Community Medical Center in Falls City, Nebraska. According to the crash report, Aldana’s injuries were minor. Cowles was ejected and suffered moderate injuries.
The driver of the Hyundai, Megan Wright, 22, of Springfield, Missouri, was not hurt.
In a separate incident, the patrol says a 16-year-old girl from Cameron suffered minor injuries after her Polaris UTV rolled over during a U-turn. The accident happened at 8:30am Saturday along Winchester Driver south of Kerr Road, seven miles southwest of Cameron.
Micheala Goucher was taken by private vehicle to Cameron Regional Medical Center.
